Ryukyu Kempo Karate Kobudo

The United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance is an organization that was formed to preserve and protect the old way teachings of Ryukyu Kempo Karate and Kobudo as taught by Seiyu Oyata to our senior leadership.

The syllabus teaches the principles of good moral character,sincerity,perserverence,patience,respect, 

etiquette,restraint and self discipline as dictated in our dojo kuns and guiding principles. Our organization is not in competition with any other representation of the martial arts and our merits and goals are stand alone for the members and affiliates of the URKA.

Understanding life, its preciousness and the need to protect it by using the core principles and target skills of traditional and classical kata and its exercises are the focus of every lesson.
